As we pray for God to provide us a common regular time so all the chapter member can get spiritual nourishment, an answer came. We realize that our cellphones can be a medium to be “there in the meeting” even if we are kilometers apart. We began to use the Yatay Phone System. When the meeting is about to start, those of us who cannot make it call the leader of the meeting. We then turn the loud speaker on so we can hear the Bible study or sharing progress. That way, they were “there” in our meeting even if we are not physically there. Then, som
eone encourage us to apply for an unlimited sim card to make it much cheaper. Because of that, we can be “on line” for longer time without any increase in charges. The system helped the group to be regularly connected every week. Then we expanded because now, not only among members and in Shengkeng area but anyone who is willing to join can do so via the phone system. When my name and cp number was published in Kaibigan Magazine, friends texted or called me interested to be part of our group. Now, we have Bible sharing, Bible study and devotion though cell phone. Most of us with no regular day and time to go to church for fellowship, have found a way through cell phone. Thus the “Jesus on the Air” Ministry was born.
Everyday, we begin at 1:30 PM; 8:00 PM.
