Lighthouse Prison Ministry

Lighthouse is a volunteer prison ministry working with foreign inmates in Taiwan. This ministry was established back in 1990 and is supported by the English speaking churches of Taipei. The purpose of Lighthouse is to reach out, in God’s love, to these men who find themselves in very difficult circumstances.

As the number of inmates has grown God has faithfully raised up Bible study leaders to help in ministering to their spiritual needs. We currently have 20 Bible study groups with 15 volunteers.

Besides ministering to the inmates spiritual needs we also try to assist them with their emotional and physical needs.
