A Holy Week Spiritual Retreat Event was held for Careers Group Company workers last April 4,2012 in the company dorm Shulin Factory site. There were 41 lady workers who attended voluntarily out of 145 contract workers. The Spiritual Retreat was organized by Teresa Lawagan,(member of Tagalog fellowship Hsinchuang chapter) the coordinator of foreign workers of the company with the approval of Roger Su,the personnel officer. Pastor Paul Ko was invited to lead the retreat with reflective songs, devotions and Bible message. Yolly Chung shared a personal testimony of how God changed her life tot eh workers. New Testament Bibles and Kaibigan magazine were also given out to the workers. The retreat started at 10 a.m. and ended at 1 p.m. It was followed by picture taking and a delicious lunch for all. (See attached picture) Some of the attendees have enrolled in the Bible Correspondence Course and subscribed to Kaibigan Magazine. A survey will be conducted by the coordinator to determine how many are interested to organize a Bible Study Group in the factory.
